Columbarium

The word “columbarium” comes from the Latin word “columba,” which means dove. The dove also represents peace and, in Christian belief, the personification of the Holy Spirit. To add to that, the columba is also a nesting box for pigeons and doves. Thus, columbarium is the one thing that connects doves, their homes, and graveyard architecture. In other words, their forms are comparable.

Furthermore, urns containing the cremated remains of loved ones are kept in columbaria, which are permanent structures. The walls of the columbarium are covered with several rows and columns of niches, which are recesses or chambers that are used to hold cremation urns. They can be quite plain or extremely ornate, and they’re often built of masonry or stone like granite or marble. However, you can also find them created from many other materials.

On another note, after a loved one dies, we imagine that when the earthly existence gently ends, they are coming home to a heavenly paradise. Despite being a sorrowful occasion, because the deceased was allowed to rest in peace, it is also a peaceful one. Columbaria are ideal sacred spaces for commemorating our loved ones.

This is why we’re introducing Heaven’s Park Memorial Garden Columbary, a 483-square-meter 1-story structure that houses 3,768 vaults. Every Biñanense will be able to have their deceased loved ones who were cremated have a respectable location in this burial facility. In addition, the parking lot has space for up to 75 automobiles. When budgetary constraints or the lack of readily placed cemetery spaces make earthen interment impossible or impractical, a columbarium offers a spiritually significant location where families may remember their loved ones.

We all know that the effects of the recent pandemic are still being felt today. Everything has changed, and the effects are still evident. But, what about the victims? How about their family members? They should be honored in a manner that treats their lives with respect. They must not be forgotten, and we shouldn’t have to.

With that, every Biñanense has access to a columbarium that Heaven’s Park built where they may quietly and peacefully pay their final respects to their loved ones. Heaven’s Park Memorial Garden is accessible due to its location close to Biñan, Laguna. For other memorial products and services, get in touch with us.
